I'm not sure a typed posted praise will be sufficient to explain what my Husband has been speaking about, but to put it in the form of how it would be applied, here is an email I was drafting—but to comply with not reverting to lurking underground that we shed during our honeymooning, I knew I'd be posting this even though it was intended for Atarah (instead, I will send the email and attach the link to this post). Please be sure to pay attention to how I am being careful to "lead" you so that we don't end up with the consequences RMIOU succumbed to (not reopening until May 1).
This was in reply to someone who wrote to the MET Office, basically who is in need of a Marriage Encouragement (that the ENGLISH discontinued). https://hopeatlast.com/mho/
Welcome back, Atarah!! Before replying to this email, you may want to create your Google form https://docs.google.com/forms/ and ask her to use this to fill it out.
Also, I want to discuss something EXCITING with you (and our other LMF) about providing a service whereby women who want to get more coaching (not ministering, which is a slippery slope towards counseling) for a fee, which could be based on
CCL Price based on the Cost Of Living Comparisons for your city https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/comparison.jsp
In addition, Atarah, as a Life Coach—who specializes in Marriage Restoration, I just checked https://loveatlast.org/about/ministry-team/, and it says you're on the 3rd level—so your rates wouldn't be as high as when you fully graduate from RMIOU. (Atarah is MAR "Ministry Attending Resident")
But wow! Isn't this amazing?!?!?! I'm beyond excited.
My Husband reminded me back when we were on our farm, and women wanted to speak to me privately on the phone. As you can imagine, with a family of 9, there was no way, but that's when our sons and my EH all discussed doing something similar to what I was already doing at the megachurch we were attending when the first MEQ (Marriage Encouragement Questionnaire) was developed and used when women (and even men ugh!!) would come in for marriage help.
If I remember correctly, we were in the process of leaving our farm and moving to Ozark, so we decided to wait. At that time, I'd never even heard of a life coach, because coaching someone is a much more advantageous approach because they are there to be guided towards improving themselves—not physically but emotionally and spiritually—assigning daily routine and courses!
Is anyone interested in trying this during a test period so we can all look at and discuss the fruits? If so, post something on your website blog and ask if anyone would be interested. This would most likely not be permitted by FML until April—giving us time to explore the good, bad, and ugly fully. For instance...
Coaching Co-op—primarily formed to work together to ensure you have a set of cooperative safety measures in place. For example, because we are women who are led by our hearts, it would be very easy to forgo payments or to lengthen the time allotted. In your co-op, the guidelines (rules possibly) would be agreed on to resist the temptation "because we are not ignorant of the enemy's schemes" whose favorite is to "wear down the saints" and rob you of time—but WORSE rob the woman of the One who she should be learning to work with so your coaching is no longer needed and can be transferred to you coaching her in her ministry.
I was off to do something else but clearly my Husband wanted me to come back here.. what I have read sounds really exciting and interesting. What comes to mind is when we get something “for free”… the MEQ with ministering which we were doing for a really long time a lot of the time it’s taken for granted. I really like the sound of of Life Coaching but exploring the good, the bad and the ugly and safety measure… setting out rules… it all sounds good to me. Something to definitely speak to my Husband about.
Ok, I’m off to work on the MEQ GF but excited to see what happens!
