Hello, beloved, I'm sharing this lesson with you to learn how to work with logos according to the client's request.
The client's request in this case was:
Erin: When we were discussing logos, it was about this logo to create a new one for HGM BRANCHES. But just today HLM to just add Branches below in the tiny dead space and I kind of love it!
If the letters in branch had a berry or pink bird or blue butterfly, I think it would be spectacular.
I will leave it with you to have fun with and spend some creative time with your Husband.
We do want to keep the regular logo, not replace that one. So if you want to distinguish the Branches with different fonts or in other ways, be my guest. THANKS!!

Erin: STEP BACK LESSON VIDEO
✍️ Transcript: This lesson is going to be called Step Back. What my husband showed me, and also because I worked with logos for years when our family had a marketing, you have to step back and see what are they going to be able to see. Now, this is gorgeous in the branches, and you can see if I enlarge it, look how pretty that is.
Unfortunately, this logo is going to be so small, you will never see that, nor any of these. So, as a matter of fact, if we step back and we do this, it's really even hard to see the word branches. But you can see, like number page 5 or 6, below, I think that's what it is, you can see that you can see there is a bird, and you can see the branches is in pink, and you can read it fairly well.
So that would be, from these selections, it would be that, but now, going smaller, you can see. But you can read Homegrown Ministries, so you need to be able to read branches, so you need to fill that space or open up the logo to make sure that you can put branches as big as Homegrown Ministries, and then do something where, from far away, okay, taking a step back, you can actually read it. And a lot of times, I do it on my computer, and I'll take screenshots, and then it gets onto my desktop, and farther away from the desktop, that's when I can see what can I read in that small space, and that's what you have to go with.
So, that will give you a little idea of how to determine, and determine yourself. Also, one thing that isn't here is my original. So make sure that when you are working with a client, put their original first, and then that way, too, you can be comparing, what did they ask, and did I do what they asked me to do, which, of course, you did here.
