We are excited to allow RMIOU students to work for LMF clients. Many of our LMFs have projects they would like to open up to RMIOU students to enhance field opportunity work.
How it works:
- The Client fills out the Opportunity Request Form detailing their request for an ongoing Project or single Task.
- The Opportunity is then posted on our blog under the category #Opportunity.
- The client is encouraged to provide a How 2 video along with a detailed explanation so that you can immediately:
- "Do just 2."
- Then comment with the link to the "2" you did.
- If done correctly, the Client will give you the go-ahead and hire you for that opportunity, and the Subject will be updated to 👍🏻 Opportunity filled.
- Add the information to your spreadsheet and tag @BK so she can verify that your quote to do the project is "just."
- The BK will add your spreadsheet row to the Main spreadsheet, so the Client and BK can see your promised deadline and their cost.
- RMI's bookkeeper will reply to your comment tag and check the quote for the client:
- Each Project needs to be compensated "justly" for the service provided. “For I, the LORD, love justice, I hate robbery . . . And I will faithfully give them their recompense and make an everlasting covenant with them.” Isaiah 61:8
- After completing the Opportunity Project, please comment again so the Subject will be updated to ✅ Opportunity completed.
To see previous and current opportunities, please check the category #Opportunity.
How do we decide how much we will pay for a task.
We work on the principle of how much the average person in Missouri is paid per hour. That is around $18 so we round it off to $20. So we estimate how long the task will take and work it out accordingly.
We work on the basis of 80/20 which means the person completing the task will get 80% of the task and then the person overseeing 20%.
For ongoing tasks this can change to 90/10 as you get more proficient and your work does not have to be checked so thoroughly.
All Tasks and Projects needs to be added with to your Invoice Spreadsheet with a link to the request so we are able to see all the details of the task.
Project: A project is a temporary endeavor (it has a start and end date).
Task: A piece of work to be done or undertaken.
We may ask you to do a project for us, which has a start and end date or we may ask you to do a task for us which will be something that is ongoing, for example weekly, monthly, or as we assign it to you.
The initial opportunity will always be advertised on our Blog. If it is an Ongoing Task, once we are satisfied that you were chosen for the task, we will move it to your IOU Student Portfolio for future assignments.
Consequences of non-compliance
If you are not able to perform these tasks within the allocated Target date and you don’t arrange any new Target dates, this task will be allocated to someone else.
For ongoing tasks, it is usually between 48 and 72 hours of a day of the week or date for the month. Example: Every Wednesday / Every 15th of the month.
For Projects, it will be a date of completion depending on the magnitude of the project. Example: Target date: February 20th, 2025.
You will get a 10% bonus for being on time and a 20% fine should the task be late.
It will also be the responsibility of the person doing the task to make sure that the supervisor is called in, only then will the task be considered as done.
It may also be that you are not anointed for the task and then it will be assigned to the next person that applied for the opportunity. This rarely happens, but we do want to always let Him lead us and work within our anointing.
