Blessings plus Consequences

Happy Saturday.

This morning I noted a new post on https://encouragingwomen.org/ hadn't been for two days. This is GOOD because it will help us begin to be careful not only to set up policies with blessings but also built-in consequences. After all, that's how GOD does things.

We are good for now since my Husband showed me there were a couple of posts that were pending and also a draft of mine, which I've since asked Isabella to get ready to run for four days—giving everyone a short break. This week my Husband opened my eyes and turned my attention to the fact that when we introduced LMF, I gave all the income from those ministries to each of you...but I failed to set up any consequences or outline what taking on this responsibility that soooo many beautiful women and I have been building—some for several decades!

So, for instance, this morning, the schedule of sharing the responsibility of posting content on https://encouragingwomen.org/ was overlooked, so it would simply mean a fine or penalty would be imposed—for the simple reason to encourage us all to do what we should do. What's also gratifying is that when we collect a fine, the money goes to who would be affected, the person(s) who end up cleaning up the mess or coming to the rescue. Today it was ME, which means I get to speak to my Husband about who to bless with that amount, which LFM, which minister, has blessed me personally so I can show my thanks!

Please let me—let US know your thoughts, suggestions, and questions in a COMMENT. We can't do this alone, and though God loves a "gentle and quiet spirit," it's very difficult and often frustrating when you deal with SILENT partners, right? Yet, as always, before you speak, talk to your Husband first so we hear from both of you together as One!

  1. I apologize because as a minister and member of this body, I can also be attentive daily to offer my help when someone has forgotten their homework and remind them and even offer to help them. I’m sorry.

  2. Good Morning, Erin, yes I agree. If we all don’t work together as one body, all of the responsibility will be on one person, you. This is not fair, because we are all sharing in the fruit, which means we should also bear the consequences of not doing what we are supposed to do.

    1. Thank you, Yvonne, I hadn’t looked at it like this, but as always, you are blessed with so much wisdom. Two sweethearts have apologized, but if someone needed to apologize, it might have been me, yet, it’s not something where an apology is needed. Instead, gratitude and now grabbing hold of this truth and reminding everyone to make sure to “Balance Blessings with Consequences” to encouraging doing what’s right.

      1. Thank you Erin! This comment completed what you said above 🙂 So I am so thankful for this, I realy needed this reminder: “Balance Blessings with Consequences”❣️

  3. My sincere apologies for the fact that I am also part of the corps, and being a minister, I did not help with the post on the day of responsibility of the PTG.
    Forgive me.

    1. As I said to Anastasia, this wasn’t why God allowed this, or why I posted this, but because He’s been speaking to me about this sort of thing for a while, failing to have the proper balance of blessings and consequences.
The fact, too, is that I’m not sure how many really follow the Encouraging Women blog anyway. Nevertheless, I believe we need to keep focused on the topic and speak to our Husband about this “Balancing Blessings with Consequences” in many areas of our lives, like as a mother or teachers or in this case, with LMF owners so we can all work as ONE and do it well.

  4. I tried now to approve a post that is pending on Encouraging Women, but my level does not allow me, it seems I can only approve my own posts, I just want to make sure, is that how it is suppose to be with my level?

    1. Good question. I’m not sure but we can use this comment thread to discuss it since I’ve taken this site to free up Yvonne to oversee all the sites as senior webmaster.
There are more ADMINS than I thought we are supposed to have, one EDITOR who’s gone so I moved her to user. You were an AUTHOR so I moved you up to EDITOR—even though the requirement of a BIO wasn’t met (so everyone encourage BIOS that are REQUIRED for an EDITOR level). Many or most or all the AUTHORS are LMFs therefore can help approve posts.

Yvonne once we all agree this information needs to be lit 🔥 up “No one lights a lamp 🪔 and then hides it or puts it under a basket 🧺. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where its light can be seen by all who enter the house, those who come may see the light.” L1133
Many things used to be on EW now are on TPR and potentially be on IOU so let’s each SSG for His plan for both these decisions.

Yes, He needs to let us know what His plan and will is and how we can discern and then easily explain where it needs to be. When I see something, I always asks Him, which one of the three sites and then follow His lead, but we would want to give clear guidance to everyone. I will talk to Him and then maybe we can discuss it at some point if He shows any of us anything.

  5. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. And I agree with Yvonne says, how important is to work as one body.
