Mailpoet / Spam Issues

I don't know if this will be helpful, but I have seen some things that He led me to that may help with Mailpoet issues.

1) Only have one form to subscribe for newsletter and remove it from the registration form
2) Remove Mailpoet integration and opt-in from ProfileGrid, SG for safer option to share fellowship info.
3) Seems like Captcha only available on LoginPress Pro.

  1. I’ve watched the first half and I agree we should change the settings because we ALL know very few READ what they’re checking off. We do so many things like this without thinking and again without READING what we are agreeing to.

Ultimately, we don’t need opinions we need His plan.

  2. In WSP you offered different options for sending the RF information Zoom. I agreed with Yvonne about adding them to a calendar πŸ“… event. It’s much more personal and doesn’t come with these downsides.

  3. ProfileGrid I’m still uneasy about each time we run into issues. I’ve wanted to LET GO but I could be wrong. So can each of you reply with the benefits of keeping this problem ridden plugin? And please πŸ™πŸ» SSG for wisdom. Again, we don’t need opinions we need His plan.

    1. SG about alternative to use for PG, only used on L@L for RF Fellowship at the moment. He is showing me something else, using WPForms and/or a separate Mailpoet RF subscribtion form to use instead of PG. But as soon as He shows me a clear plan I will follow and see where it leads.

        1. The question is how WELL it’s working and if they’re engaging. I also believe it’s on more websites. RMIOU is one. When i tested as a new student it’s built into the process and very confusing. I was only able to navigate because I knew where i was going.

Let’s add a separate blog post to discuss this plugin and exploring other options. HOWEVER before I could type that thought my Husband reminded me HIS PLAN doesn’t appear until we LET GO.

    2. For RF Fellowship Profile Grid is not needed. The idea was to have the ladies register and then add them to a newsletter only they receive with the Zoom link, thus the PG / Mailpoet integration. From 26 ladies registered only 7 is subscribed to the newsletter and the group is not used for anything else that that.

Here is what He showed me to replace PG for the RF fellowship:
-Use a WPForm to “register”. Basic form just to confirm they want to attend and they want to receive an invite to the calendar event with the email address they want to use.
-The form will be send to office@L@L / rrr from where they can be invited to event. Currently the event in in office@L@L.

  4. Hi ladies, thank you for everything here.
Adina, I agree, let’s make the changes to the settings. I am going ahead and doing them on my sites now. Will you and Isabella do them on yours, please? I will also change the settings on the Encouraging women.
For Captcha and Profile Grid, I will make new posts so we can discuss them there.

    1. Made the changes to H@L and L@L, the subscription and comment opt-in options were not activated on DUT and AFR.

  5. Thanks, this morning I changed all the other websites settings. I also replied to Mailpoet, asking them to activate it for us again. Let’s wait and see what they say.
