Vulnerability in Editorial Calendar

He taught us something new and we want to share it with all of you. πŸ’ž
When a plugin is developed, it is developed to be compatible with certain versions of WordPress. As WordPress gets updated and a new version is installed, the plugins also need to be updated to suit the new version.

If the developers do not update the plugin regularly, the plugin can become vulnerable. If you come across something like this on your website, you have basically two options:

1) You need to get in contact with the developer to update the plugin, but you will need to get rid of the plugin in any case until the developer has updated it.
2) Get rid of the plugin and replace it with another plugin.

With the background on this, we want all of you to please delete the WordPress Editorial Plugin from your website. Please do this by the 9th of June 2023.

Thank you so much

  1. Thank you Yvonne dear for the research and information. I deleted from PTG, TUR and NRPH ✌🏼

  2. Yvonne, I want to CONFIRM that should a plug-in cause a breach in the security of the website and/or adversely affect or encroach on other plug-ins WE more than any others are very familiar with LETTING GO.
Before you do, just take a screenshot and grab the link to the plug-in source, but just uninstall and then DELETE. It’s only when we let go that God leads us to what He has for us.
    Are we all agreed? πŸ‘πŸ»

  3. IMPORTANT UPDATE. Today, Sunday, my Husband led me to login to one of our LMF websites and I saw a giant alert from WordFence that’s designed to protect the websites. The ALERT was due to this plugin we posted in our WhatsApp group “WEB7 ADM Security,” where there are He showed me had ONLY 3 πŸ‘πŸ» that left me speechless 😢 because my Husband, your Husband, who led us to set up LMF and also the “WEB7 ADM Security” so 7 admins can monitor and protect the websites you’re now FREE to profit from told me to impose a $50 fine for all who failed to leave a πŸ‘πŸ»
Only Poppy, Sara, and Atarah will be exempt from deducting this amount from your LMF spreadsheets.
YES, of course, I asked Him if we shouldn’t first warn everyone before imposing the fineβ€”but He assured me we have explained what is expected of all LMF owners, the importance of having an Admin who checks the websites and checks in DAILY (even weekends).
YES, I do realize this potentially makes me less popular; however, we also know (and you each our spiritually mature enough or He would never have called you to take on the responsibility (not just the blessing) of having an LMF that God said, β€œTherefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God” (James 4:4b). As His bride, I believe we all agree, we each have taken the narrow road that leads to His Abundant Life!
Sara, can you schedule a reminder to ensure everyone who is not exempt, “Only Poppy, Sara, and Atarah” and Yvonne, who posted this, have deducted their 50 USD?
Now I am off to remove the offending plugin I discovered, and I trust this fine will also help build MY TRUST in each of you because it’s taken 33 years working with my Husband for me to build what He’s entrusting to you. πŸ’ πŸ’ πŸ’
